Welcome to The Golo (Goal Lock) productivity timer app.
No more lying to yourself.
How many hours did you do on The Golo today?
Meaning: How much of your day was REALLY spent on your most important thing (task/goal/project)?
Unfortunately, all things on our to-do list arent equally important no matter how much we may pretend. Aside from the good feeling of checking insignificant items off of our to-do list, we arent doing ourselves any favors. Spending 12 hours at the office doesnt mean you had a productive day. How much of that time was spent on your most important task and how much was spent on everything else?
Get more out of your time by locking onto your goal (most important thing) with The Golo app.
How to use The Golo app:
1) Push the "Start" button when you begin working on your most important thing.
2) Push the "Push to Break" button when you stop working on your most important thing for any reason and for any amount of time. This includes to check your email or social media, surf the web, talk to a friend or co-worker, go to a meeting, grab a cup of coffee, go to the bathroom, go to lunch, take a phone call, or work on a different task.
3) Push the "Push to Work" button when you resume working on your most important thing.
Thats it! Simple and effective. At the end of the day youll know how much time you spent on your most important thing and how much you spent on everything else. Brace yourself, the truth may sting a bit. Use this as an incentive to focus more of your time on your most important thing and find ways to eliminate distractions.
A good goal is to try to achieve 3 hours on The Golo each day and watch the progress pile up. Godspeed.
